Abstract
Electric vehicles (EVs) are rapidly gaining popularity in Malaysia, with models from brands like Tesla, BYD, and Proton’s e.MAS, driven by government incentives such as tax exemptions and expanding charging infrastructure. EVs can be cheaper to run, especially when charged at home, though public charging can be costly. While the initial purchase may be expensive, the growing availability of models makes EVs an increasingly practical and eco-friendly choice for Malaysian drivers.
