Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic increased global awareness of infectious diseases and their prevention through widespread information shared via official media and digital platforms. As a result, many people adopted preventive measures such as social distancing, mask-wearing, and quarantine, which helped reduce infection rates and protect vulnerable groups. However, as the immediate threat declined, many individuals failed to maintain these important public health practices, raising concerns about society’s preparedness for future disease outbreaks.
