DoR supports FSG's strategic blueprint with QS ranking insights

The Faculty of Applied Sciences (FSG) UiTM Shah Alam took a significant step toward strengthening its global standing through a strategic ranking engagement session with the Department of Ranking (DoR), UiTM Global. Held at the Smart Classroom, UiTM Shah Alam, the session was organized in conjunction with the development of the FSG2030 Blueprint, a long-term strategic plan to guide the faculty's future direction in academic excellence and international recognition. The session served as a focused platform to discuss the latest developments in global university rankings, particularly the QS World University Rankings (WUR) by Subject 2025. The DoR shared an overview of UiTM's current performance and offered detailed analysis on subject-level indicators, highlighting strengths and identifying areas with high potential for improvement. Discussions centered on how FSG can enhance its contribution to UiTM's international visibility by strengthening its positioning in key subjects. DoR also presented data-driven insights for subjects with the potential to be ranked in the QS WUR by Subject 2026, prompting proactive planning by the faculty.
