The Extension of Time (EQT) provision is a mechanism that allows the completion date of a construction project to be modified (when necessary) while also providing protections for the client. This clause may be included in most construction contracts; PWD 203A and PAM 2018. This study highlights the factors for Extension of Time (EQT) claims in infrastructure works. This study aims to identify the factors of EQT claims in infrastructure works and analyze the most approved category of EQT claims in infrastructure works. In achieving these objectives, the quantitative method has been used to collect data for completing the research. Based on the quantitative approach, a questionnaire form was conducted, and 125 respondents took part. The respondents chosen is the contractors from Grade 5 until Grade 7. The questionnaire reveals the factors of extension of time (EQT) claims in infrastructure works and the most approved category of the EQT claims.
