Abstract
Tanah Lot, also called Pura Tanah Lot Temple, is one of Bali's most well-known and revered Hindu temples. It is one of the most famous and most photographed temples in Bali which is perched atop a sizable rock in the middle of the ocean. One of Bali's seven sea temples known as Pura Segara, Tanah Lot Temple is perched on a rock approximately 300 metres off the coast. Being a popular tourist destination, Bali welcomes a large number of adventure seekers and enthusiasts each year who make it a point to visit this location. Tanah Lot Temple is a group of three temples situated on a large offshore rock on the beach. The main Tanah Lot temple is closed during high tide, rendering it inaccessible, and the other two are thought of as a spiritual stand-in. The three temples are roughly 100 meters apart.
