Abstract
Although cover creation is the very last creative step when publishing a book, there is an infinite step before that finishing step. It is a book wrap. That’s because almost everything about the anatomy of a book cover is controlled by the final, edited version of the book: the trim size, paper color and the number of pages all determine your cover’s dimensions. So, a wrapper is vital as it will protect the book covers from damage such as dust, humidity, and filthy greasy fingers. The books are ever-present on college campuses and are frequently used in the library where learning and revision or meeting between peers occurs. This quantitative research study was conducted to observe whether the “Casual Book Wrap” function can assist those who read a book in the library for a period of time. “Casual Book Wrap” manufactures a variety of hardcover cardboard, eco-friendly shopping bags and other small items like magnets and short bag strips. “Casual Book Wrap” design and maintain the tooling utilized in the book shapes lines. Participants (N=100) were randomly assigned to spend less than two minutes completing a survey by the online form that had been prepared in a way to perceive the trait measure of awareness tendency in this product, taking into the problems encountered nowadays with the use of books covers by individuals who has intention doing activity in the library. As we can see, one of the issues is that when an individual is reading, they tend to bend their head to read it. “Casual Book Wrap” also can be an advantage to users as it has been modified with a plastic stand holder and can make the reader feel relaxed when reading. With these features, this product can make it easier for them to carry and read books anywhere. This should briefly summarize the different functions of the wrap and give the highlights like a movie trailer provides a teaser for viewers while having comfortable chaise lounge seating. It should show readers why they need to use the book wrap and let them know what they can expect; it’s an extra feature of the book. In terms of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), this product has a low environmental impact, such as those with a low carbon footprint, preserve environmental integrity and resources, and are certified as truly eco-friendly (SDG 15: Life on Land).
