Abstract

During my internship, I saw that Maybank's logo is more than just branding; it symbolizes identity and trust for customers. Whether it’s on documents, digital platforms, or staff uniforms, the logo reinforces the bank's presence and its values of professionalism, inclusivity, and commitment to service excellence. This is especially important for brand recognition in both urban and rural areas, where the logo serves as an immediate visual signal of safety, security, and credibility. The consistent use of this logo across physical and digital channels shows Maybank's effective brand management and its ability to maintain a cohesive identity in diverse markets and regions. I interned at the Maybank Rahang branch in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. This branch serves a varied customer base, including individual account holders, local businesses, corporate clients, and students from nearby institutions. It operates from 8:45 AM to 5:45 PM, Monday through Thursday, with slightly adjusted hours on Friday to accommodate prayer times. The branch is closed on weekends and public holidays. Flowever, it sometimes participates in weekend outreach programs, like student onboarding campaigns at universities such as Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), where interns and staff help with MAE wallet activations and provide financial education.
