Abstract

This study has the aim to investigate the factor that effects the selection of Islamic Banking among the non-Muslim in the Mahkota Medical Centre, a private hospital in Malacca. A non-probability sampling method was used whereby a questionnaire was administered to 100 respondents and statistically analyzed to determine the factors to the selection of Islamic Banking system among the non-Muslim in Mahkota Medical Centre. From the analysis, it can confirm the significant positive relationship of people’s selection, awareness, understanding and perceptions towards the Islamic Banking system. In conclusion, the people in the Mahkota Medical Centre especially non-Muslim can derive a better understanding of the activities that are undertaken by Islamic banking system and how the way are these activities are being deal with.
