Abstract

Chester Enterprise is a processing manufacturing and marketing business that produces bread and pastry products. It is owned by a four-person partnership, with members possessing specialized skills and experience aiming to conquer the bread market across the East Coast of Malaysia, particularly in Kelantan. The business is scheduled to open on Monday, January 1, 2001, in Pasir Puteh town, an area characterized by low competition but significant opportunity. The partners prioritize "Consumer Consciousness" and utilize their skilled and well-trained staff to run the enterprise with full responsibility, committed to fulfilling the varied demands for customer style, quality, and excellence. Chester Enterprise will implement a strategy of applying new ideas and latest masterpiece settings to elevate its prestigious image. Through an umbrella orientation, the company aims to secure offers to supply products to major fast-food and convenience retailers, including McDonald's, Seven Eleven, KFC, A&W, and Domino's, making it a main provider for them on the East Coast. The decision to enter this market is based on its low competition risk, high profit potential, and growth prospects. The enterprise is confident it will successfully cater to market demand by having its retail premises located beside its manufacturing facility, ensuring convenient distribution. The total raised capital to establish Chester Enterprise is RM 270,049.50. This capital includes RM 200,000.00 financed by Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad, with the remainder divided according to the partners' ratios. The company will also receive financial and technical support from the Dewan Perniagaan Melayu Malaysia. To maintain maximum growth amidst rapid socio-economic changes, Chester Enterprise is implementing high technology—a key differentiator from competitors who still use traditional methods and lack customer consciousness—to enhance product quality at a minimum cost. The company's activities and customer services are carried out by over 18 personnel, ensuring a comprehensive market presence.
