MGT300: Information Technology in Business

This course discusses the importance of IT in today’s e-business enterprises, how IT plays a major role in decision-making and how it increase efficiency as well as effectiveness in all business processes. Extensive use of examples from many organizations will be used to show how these concepts apply in terms of the IT capabilities, its cost and justification and innovative ways that real companies are using IT in their operations. E-commerce activities are also highlighted in time with today’s advancement in telecommunications networks.
