Abstract
Slide Presentation: “Commands and prohibitions and their implications”
Ammar Ma'ruf Nahi Munkar is an important principle in Islamic teachings that calls on people to enjoin what is good (enjoining what is good and forbidding what is evil (forbidding what is evil)). This principle is an ethical and social principle, whereby every Muslim must remind one another to protect good and repel evil, whether on an individual or community level. Ammar Ma'ruf Nahi Munkar is not only a command, but also a shared responsibility to create a society that is in accordance with Islamic values, in a wise and loving manner, and that respects the rights of others.
