Defects and its causes investigation at Residensi Kepongmas, Kuala Lumpur

Construction sector in Malaysia is growing rapidly throughout the year. However, construction defects are commonly occurred in new building due to poor constructed. The purpose of this practical report is to investigate most common defect found at a new building, Residensi Kepongmas which located at Taman Metropolitan, Kepong. Data was collected through interview session which has been conducted by interviewing six interviewees. Moreover, information was also gained by site walk, and document reviews. Inspection were conducted to check on architectural and structural defects. Defects can be check by using several methods and tools.
