Industrial training report: Zero Mass Water Malaysia (Source Malaysia)

In order to complete my degree, all students who took the Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons.) Finance (BA242) course are required to complete the Internship subject, which has the code MGT666. Regarding that subject, I had the opportunity to do my industrial training at Zero Mass Water Malaysia (Source Malaysia), located in Bayan Lepas, Penang. The internship training started on March 1, 2024, and finished on August 9, 2024, lasting for a total of 24 weeks.
Let's begin by looking at the student's profile, and then we can move on to the company's profile. The company's profile will include details such as its name, location, background, vision, mission, nature of business, organisational structure, and the product or service it offers. Then continue with Training’s reflection, followed by financial performance analysis (ratio), SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) Analysis with discussion and recommendation on Financial Ratio and SWOT. Then I closed with a conclusion and a summary of the report I made.
This report focused on analysing the financial performance (ratio) and conducting a SWOT Analysis. I obtained this information during my training. For strength, I elaborate on producing innovative technology and improvement in profitability. For weaknesses, I discuss high initial cost and production and shipping delays. For opportunity, I elaborate on the topic of growing demand for sustainable solutions and expansion into new markets. Lastly, for threat, I discuss the economic uncertainty and operational risks.
All the observations and any recommendations to the organisation are discussed in detail. Also, in my discussion and recommendation, I will talk about how I have observed the situation in the company, how it is affecting the business, and provide suggestions on how the organisation can ensure its sustainability. I will also discuss the necessary actions, how to capitalise on opportunities, and strategies to address potential threats.
