Medical Record Department Hospital Putrajaya

I have been through 5 months of internship training at the Medical Record Department in Hospital Putrajaya. During the internship training, it gave me the opportunity to improve my knowledge and skills in medical records management. It also helped me improve my communication skills, manage tasks assigned to me, enhance my teamwork skills, and be exposed to the right work ethics. Additionally, I was exposed to a real working environment, attended assemblies, organized events, and also learned how to make decisions for any arising problems. The Medical Record Department is divided into three units: the Medical Record Room Unit, the Medical Report Unit, and the Statistic Unit. I engaged in many activities in the Medical Record Department, such as attending CD-IO classes, Medical Record Family Days, attending meetings, acting as an internal audit officer to audit the Medical Record Department, performing the separation process for disposition, visiting the disposition factory, sending boxes and files to PBBR, sorting files at PBBR, undertaking special projects, and attending and getting involved in events organized by the records department. Lastly, industrial training can expose students to a working environment before they go through real working life.
