Industrial training: Pusat Perubatan Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia

This paper is about management of patient file at Jabatan Maklumat Kesihatan, Pusat Perubatan Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. The information that contain in patients file is private and confidentially and it cannot be exposed to unauthorized person. So it is very important to ensure the security is in the high level. PPUKM is still used medical records in the paper-based form and it still in planning to convert the paper-based records to electronic medical records. Other than that, this paper also contains information on how Jabatan Maklumat Kesihatan manages and maintain their patients record in the hospital effectively and efficiently. At this department, it has several units and it also their own function and task. Functions and descriptions of each unit that available at Jabatan Maklumat Kesihatan are also described in detail in this paper.
