Awareness and knowledge of educational waqf among students at UiTM Machang, Kelantan / Nabihah Muhammad Faizal

Awareness and knowledge about Education Waqf in Malaysia shows the importance and potential of waqf as a source of funding for higher education. Educational waqf refers to the giving of valuable resources, whether in the form of assets, goods, or cash, Studies show that educational waqf can help develop educational infrastructure and provide better educational opportunities. Thus, this study aims to identify the problems that occur such as the challenge of obtaining Waqf funding consistently. This is because the main reason that affects the implementation of Waqf education is the increase in education fee expenses and the absence of permanent sources of income such as government aid or permanent sponsors. In the context of students' awareness and knowledge about educational waqf involves a significant potential gap by restricting their understanding of the value of waqf in advancing social and educational goals and the uncertainty that students may experience regarding fund management and transparency in the context of educational waqf. The discussion will focus on the objective of the study, which is to study the perception of UiTM Machang students towards Education Waqf, identify the appropriate method to spread knowledge about Education Waqf among students at UiTM Machang and identify the level of awareness and knowledge of students at UiTM Machang regarding Education Waqf. Studies show that educational waqf can help develop educational infrastructure and provide better educational opportunities. The methodology used is a quantitative method which is a questionnaire distributed through the Google Form platform through social media. The data collected from the survey was analyzed using SPSS version 27. The analysis of this data is important to gain insight and ensure the validity of the study findings.
