Abstract

Nowadays, employee performance is depends on the employee work ethics especially in public sector. There were many work ethics that had been introduced by the government and also the private sector. Here, in order to know the relationship of the work ethics and employee performance, a random sample of 100 respondents from Pejabat Tanah dan Galian and Pejabat Daerah dan Tanah of Melaka Tengah were choosed to answer the questionnaire. But, only 40 from 100 feedbacks that involve in this survey. Actually, the study examines the relationship of work ethics and employee performance. The staff work performance was improved when there is a significant relationship between work ethic and employee performance. The roles play by the organization when they give a reward, support, recognition, and training show the high performance of the staff in the organization. The study shows that the employees’ performance is depend on their work ethics where the employees with work ethics are more motivated.
