Abstract
UiTM Mukah proudly hosted the 2024 Language Carnival with the goal of encouraging students to use English in a fun, engaging, and relaxed setting. The event took place on May 19, 2024, at Dewan Sri Balau and was organized by the English Language Society of UiTM Mukah (ELSUM) under the guidance of Ms. Sitti Hawa Sheikh Mohammad. Various games such as Sudoku, Crossword Puzzles, Quiz Trivia, Scrabble, and Spelling Bee were featured, arranged into different stations. Each participant was required to complete all games to receive a goodie bag. Around 100 attendees participated, showing their support for the carnival. The event also included open mic sessions where attendees showcased their singing talents. Overall, the carnival was a success, achieving its primary objective.
