Abstract

This industrial training report is submitted by Nurul Syafiqah binti Azmi as a requirement for the final year of Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons)Marketing at UiTM Arau, Perlis. The training was conducted at Paramit Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., Penang from 1st March 2024 to 9th August 2024. The report covers the student’s profile, the firm’ operations, training insights, a SWOT analysis, detailed discussions and recommendations. The report's introductory part outlines the student's educational and personal experience as well as their abilities, skills, and goals. In the manufacturing industry, Paramit Malaysia is a division of Paramit Corporation, a multinational contract manufacturing and engineering services company that specialises in the design and manufacture of medical devices and life science instruments. The business is renowned for its cutting-edge production skills, dedication to excellence, and knowledge of the medical technology sector.The report then discussed on the training’s reflection. The student’s industrial training at Paramit Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. was a valuable experience. Student had the opportunity to learn about the company’s operation, and to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting. During the training period, student had the opportunity to work with a team of experienced team members, who provided the trainee with guidance and support.
The following section focuses on SWOT analysis. The student evaluates the internal strengths and weaknesses of the firm dimensions in light of risks and opportunities from the outside world. This analytical framework serves as a plan of action, guiding the creation of plans that strike a balance between the advancement of the individual and the success of the business.
This industrial training programmes provided a fantastic learning experience. The learner gained knowledge about the workings of the firm and acquired new skills. The student also developed their professional problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
