Industrial training report: Jabatan Kastam Diraja Malaysia Perlis / Nur Atifah Fitri Abdul Ghani

My internship was at ‘Jabatan Kastam Diraja Malaysia, Perlis’ located in Kangar,Perlis. The internship lasted 24 weeks, started on March 1, 2024, and ended on August 9, 2024. At first I was assigned to worked in the Human Resources Department but after 19 days I received a memo to change to ‘Bahagian Pematuhan’. From March 20 until August 9 2024, I was assigned to stayed there. I was monitored by my supervisor, Puan Fazila Aida Bt Mohamad Fadzil which is the Assistant Superintendent of Customs, WK29. During my internship, I managed to work in Human Resources Department and Compliance Department. I worked closely with team members and actively participated in a variety of programmes and activities. My internship provided significant learning opportunities in HR, audit, financial management, and event organising. The department also offered me with great networking chances and experience for my future career.
