Abstract

A will is one of the important instruments for Islamic property planning where it is a gift of property that occurs after the death of the testator. Property planning instruments through the will method are highly encouraged for Muslims to facilitate property management and also to avoid property disputes between families, relatives and future heirs. Accordingly, this writing will focus on the concept and implementation of wills according to the law and the perspective of Shariah law as well as looking at the realities of the claims of the will confirmation case.
