TXD514 : Creative pattern cutting / College of Creative Arts

This course concentrates to produce skillful designers with knowledge in pattern layout, construction, development and manipulation to create creative and wearable garments and other fabric based products. This course also aims for students to understand, organize and apply the production process from conceptualization (2D) to realization (3D) for soft furnishing, upholstery and fabric based products with technical accuracy and making up. The program also covers from conceptualizing a specific design to technical and production processes of pattern making, draping, create toile (mock-up) and final making up of textiles products for fashion and interior with quality finishing standards.
