TXD270 : Design research / College of Creative Arts

The course provides students to produce and present a folio which consist an advance research towards subject matter. Students will focus on creating a research paper work that involves innovation of new techniques, colours and ideas on variety type of paper. The above description is applicable to all the 3 disciplines (resist, printing and fiber). Students still need to perform the drawing/sketches, data collection, photo record, media experiments and technique towards subject matter used. In order to improve student’s skill, this course involves color studies and basic exploration and application on different types of papers.
