TXD171 : Intro to textile design: motif, pattern and arrangement / College of Creative Arts

This course is a continuation and extension of Design Research with emphasis on the development skills and personal creative expression. Students are expected to have an understanding in producing ideation and creation based on principle and element of design to express creative idea using all techniques and media exploration. Expose to various idea developments in creating design repeat pattern driven by function, concept, theme, material and production. Students are encouraged to work in an imaginative way, experimenting with technique and colors combination through exploration and self expression
