MUP614 : Recording technology for musicians / College of Creative Arts

This course examines the technology process of producing studio quality audio recording in indoor recording and outdoor recording. Students will get hands-on experience from preparing and executing audio recording session and basic sound editing for one of these 3 categories: studio music post production and live music post production. Lecturer shares his/her successes in previous projects and his/her past mistakes as students build their own skills in preparing and executing audio recording session and basic sound editing. Students will have opportunity to work at a recording studio or post-production house for their final project.
