Abstract
An accident may define as an unexpected occurrence, which hinders or stops the continuation or flow of some process. Accident may involve injuries to persons or damage to plants or both. DOSH (1970) state that, accident broadly speaking, an indication of inefficiency is not yet generally appreciated in sawmill or any industries. Damage to plants has always been a matter for concern because it necessitates the expenditure of capital to replace or repair the damage equipment and this reflected in the profit and loss account. The Kelantan sawmill implies more people for every year and potentially exposed to safety and health risks. The risks can be either associated with machine work. Sawmill are the place that causes all of the accident. The main factor causes by sawmill in Kelantan like the careless of worker,' employer not prepare good equipment and always rushing the machine. So, the unexpected accident will appear. According to OSHA 2002, the employee is a person must play the role in worker safety. They need to ready a safety place and make programmed in training their worker. The worker also needs to follow the safety rules and use the machine or other technology goodly.
