Abstract
Grading are systems of classification used to separate lumber into classes on the basis of the number, size and character of such physical features such as knots, splits, check, wormholes, wane, pitch streaks and pockets. Grading should follow the steps to determine the standard rules for the sawn hardwood. Every country has different steps and standard for the grading.
