Abstract

Safety alert device has become an arising issue in the past few years with the increasingly statics that woman is being assaulted and abducted every day. Women tend to go silent themselves whenever someone assaulted them and tend to keep it as a secret instead of reporting it to the police. Safety alert device with GPS/GSM has become a thing that matter to women nowdays. Safety alert device with GPS/GSM can help women to alert user surroundings and user emergency contact in emergency situation. Women are exposed in being abducted or assaulted every day. The development of Women Wearable Safety Alert Device GSM/GPS (WOWS-GSM/GPS) is a solution to all women to increase the security in their daily life. This device can alert emergency contact by sending the Short Message Service (SMS) message with the location of the user using GPS tracking module so the message can be sent more quickly after they push the button. This will help the emergency contact to monitor you after the emergency message has been sent. The switch button will help to activate all the sensors when user push it in danger. This device minimizes the amount of response time by alerting the surrounding and the emergency contact, and thus reducing the danger risk.
