Abstract

This research delves into dengue prevention efforts in Shah Alam, Malaysia, focusing on community dynamics, awareness, engagement, communication, and stakeholder interactions. Using diverse methodologies, including interviews and data analysis, it reveals gaps in awareness and behaviors related to fogging and dengue prevention. It also examines the role of fogging equipment, considering sustainability and safety concerns. The study proposes a holistic approach emphasizing community-driven initiatives, innovative technologies, and sustainable practices to combat dengue fever effectively. Recommendations include enhancing community engagement, implementing safety protocols, and exploring eco-friendly pesticides.
