Abstract
Cybercrime is a new computer crime of the century. This cybercrime consist of the elements of fraud damage or modification of programs or computer data, theft of information , hacking, and more. Internet facilities should be used to make it easier for people to find information or to increase their knowledge. However, humans have misused the internet by doing the wrong things. In today 's cyber world, no human can interfere with or control the dissemination of information distributed through millions of websites despite the fact that such information cannot be verified. Not only that, there are many false ideas or ideologies and widespread pornography in the social media. Cybercrimes can be defined as: " Offences that are committed against individuals or groups of individuals with a criminal motive to intentionally harm or loss, to the victim directly or indirectly, using modern telecommunication networks such as internet ( networks including chat rooms, e - mails, notice boards and groups ) and mobile phones ( Bluetooth I SMS / MMS ) " . Regarding cyber security Malaysia, the rise in cybercrime rates is a common phenomenon due to the rapid growth of internet users every year.
