Abstract
This course is designed to introduce students to the Malay traditional ensemble music. It covers the history of Malay traditional music in Malaysia. Topics that will be covered in this course include the historical aspects, music and society, form and analysis, instruments and, listening and analysis on the repertoires. Students will be playing in various styles of Malay traditional music repertoires.
