MUP428 : Piano accompaniment / College of Creative Arts

Piano accompaniment, whether in a duo or chamber music setting, is different from playing the piano for solo music. The course is designed to acquaint the students with the required skills to perform in ensemble. The following is what the course focuses on: students learn how to work with other musicians as part of an ensemble, explore how to improve their rehearsal technique, hone their listening skills, and realize many different ways that pianists can work with other musicians.
