Abstract
Topics covered in this course include the introduction of basic extended and chromatic harmony through analysis and harmonization: dominant and leading note 7th chords including its secondary 7th chords in 4-part Bach choral writing style. Students also learn expanded harmonic rhythms, non-chord tones and cadences through musical analysis.
