Abstract
This course is a continuation of aural training focusing on the development and expansion of knowledge in listening skills. Students will be expected to utilize materials learned in previous classes. Exercises in melodic and rhythmic dictation will be carried out as a weekly classroom activity to enhance students’ listening skills as well as reinforce their comprehension of basic theoretical concepts. Students are expected to sight sing short melodies proficiently using the solfege system.
