Abstract

This study aim to establish the crucial determinants of profitability in ACE Market in Malaysia. There are three factors to be focus on this research which are sales growth, liquidity and leverage. The dependent variables for this research is profitability and the independent variables such as liquidity, leverage and sales growth. The sample data was collected from 2015 until 2020 which comprises 13 companies in the ACE Market in Bursa Malaysia. In this research study, panel data models will be used. The results shows sales growth has significant and positive relationship with return on asset. Meanwhile current ratio indicates a significant negative relationship with return on asset. For debt ratio indicates a negative relationship with return on asset.
