Abstract

The Security Department is one of the important department in UiTM Shah Alam. The security guard of UiTM Shah Alam responsibility for handling traffic summon in UiTM Shah Alam. They provide summon using current system; writing traffic summon into summon sheet and give it to the student. Then the staff of the Security Department will key in the traffic summon details into the database. By using this method, process of handling and storing traffic summon become slow, waste of time and effort. In this paper the problem of using the old traffic summon system list is discussed, analyzed and the new approach to overcome the problem is introduced which is Personal Digital Assistant (PDA). This paper will suggest the Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) as an approach for handling traffic summon and make it more reliable and more effective.
