Abstract
The Nexus Hub, site located on the UiTM Seri Iskandar campus branch Perak, is envisioned as more than just a physical structure; it's a dynamic space that fosters community engagement, creativity, and sustainability. At its core, the pavilion serves as a focal point where students gather, interact, and connect with each other and their environment. The design of the Timber Retreat embodies a commitment to sustainability and innovation. By harmoniously integrating timber with contemporary design elements, the hub not only provides a visually striking environment but also showcases the potential of eco-friendly construction materials and practices. This emphasis on sustainability aligns with the ethos of the Fusion Timber Challenge, which seeks to promote environmentally conscious design solutions. Furthermore, the term "nexus" implies a central hub or connector, suggesting that the hub serves as a link between various elements of campus life. In addition to being a gathering space, the Nexus Hub is designed to accommodate a wide range of activities and functions.
