Superstructure is the structure that was built above ground level that receives load from other masonry structures and transfers the load to the substructure and then to the ground. The aim of this study is to investigate the construction process of the superstructure for a single storey house. Data for this study was collected through on-site observation, interviews and document review. It was found that conventional methods have been used for the construction process of the superstructures. The process of the construction was started by constructing the ground beam following the slab and then column and it has been constructed thoroughly. This can conclude that superstructures are an important element in securing the strength and durability of a building.
