Industrial training report: Hospital Tanah Merah / Nur Auni Shakirah Azllee

The title of this report is Industrial Training Report at Hospital Tanah Merah. Throughout my internship, I have two supervisors that watch after me. They use the personnel department rotation method. This allows me to learn different topics simultaneously and obtain fresh knowledge. By doing that, I can learn new things at the same time and can gain new knowledge. Mr. Ruslan bin Zahari, Executive Officer from Department Asset, is my first industry supervisor. My second supervisor is Mrs. Faizah binti Adnan, Administrative Assistant. However, my academic advisor is Dr. Shamsul Anaz Kasim. This report summarizes internship in Hospital Tanah Merah from September 3 rd 2023 to February 08th,2024. Among the contents in this report are my resume, hospital'sprofile (vision, mission, objective statement, background of establishment, organizational structure, and products/services offered), training’s reflection (work experiences and benefits gained), and SWOT Analysis (diagram, discussion, and recommendation). In terms of training reflection, I summarized my ups and downs and experiences at the Asset department, Administration, and Human Resource department throughout my period of six months there. To supplement my remarks, I have attached pictures and evidence of previous work done by myself. Furthermore, I got to enjoy first-hand working experience from the internship and there are some benefits that I gained from it. Besides that, I have gathered the department’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in SWOT Analysis diagram and further elaborated them in discussion and recommendation sections. Lastly, I suggested several recommendations that can enhance strengths and emphasize opportunities, while improving weaknesses and preventing possible threats of Hospital Tanah Merah. 2
