Abstract

The productivity oil palm fruit bunches is important factor to be consider from oil palm industry when need to get the high of yield and profit. These studies were on the plantation sector to identify factors that affect the productivity of oil palm fruit bunches among harvesters. These studies were found the impact of trainings, salary and working environment among harvesters toward the yield of productivity in oil palm estate. This research located at Merlimau, Melaka. The sample population need is 85 while the sample size is 70 respondents. The data are collected and analyzed by using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), the data analysis for descriptive analysis, correlation coefficient, and multiple regressions. In this study the result showed that the most dominant factor that give effect to the productivity of oil palm fruit bunches among harvesters is training, and the others factors such as salary and working environment also that give influence. So, the sufficient training program provide from estate industry for their harvesters worker can give positive influence in their productivity of oil palm fruit bunches, and the salary factor such as the financial reward, compensations, bonus, and the deduction of salary, and better working environment such as provide good facilities, adequate harvesting equipment, advance technology use in harvesting activities also can influence the productivity of oil palm fruit bunches among harvesters. For recommendation, the oil palm plantation industry need to provide better training program, salary procedure, and working environment to their harvester workers to ensure the company will achieve the high of the productivity of oil palm fruit bunches.
