Abstract
The purpose of this study is to identify the factor influencing life insurance demand at Miri, Sarawak. The study will be gather using 150 set of
questionnaire as it will distributed at Miri, Sarawak. The methodology used in this study is population and sampling, data collection method and Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 20 of data analysis method. The objective of this study is to find the most factor influencing life insurance demand and to examine the relationship between financial literacy, saving motives and level of knowledge with life insurance demand. From the finding of the study, the most factor influence life insurance demand is level of knowledge and followed by financial literacy and saving motives. Based on the Pearson Correlation analysis financial literacy and level of knowledge have strong relationship with life insurance demand and there are moderate relationship between saving motives and life insurance demand. Overall, there are positive relationship between independent variables and dependent variable.
