Abstract

This research aims to review the food and culture of Negeri Sembilan state in Peninsular Malaysia. The researchers applied a case study methodology in the information and data collection process. The focal point of the research findings is the Minangkabau culture that originated from Sumatera, Indonesia. This culture has been largely prevalent in Negeri Sembilan till today. However, there were several limitations to this study that could be overcome by future research. Nevertheless, this research on the food and culture of Negeri Sembilan was successfully completed, with hopes that it would benefit readers who wish to understand more about the state from its culinary and cultural aspects.
