IFE762: Management and Leadership from Islamic Perspective / Arshad Ayub Graduate Business School

This course provides a comprehensive overview on organizations and management from the perspectives of Islam. Students will explore conventional approaches, as well as major recent concepts, theories and insights of Islamic management. An understanding of the implication of the changing environment, in the light of Islamic outlook and the real world practices of globalization is relevant. More importantly, students will learn that with rapid change and increasing complexity, organizations may establish different methods of managing and leading business. At the end of the course, students should be able to build specific leadership knowledge and skills to help them develop as leaders with Islamic values.
