Multifunction folding coffee table with simple design for urban residents’ user / Shamsul Amri Khairani

Because of population growth and resource scarcity, the world is currently confronted with several significant issues. Overcrowding in the living area such as big-city causes people to live in a small space resident such as flat or apartments. Overcrowding in the living area can cause economic and social problems, and limited material options not only lower the quality of life. As a result of all of these challenging issues, multi-functional furniture has emerged as one of the answers for space sustainability. Multi-function furniture combines several functions into a single item to control material consumption while efficiently saving the user's space. For this study, a design for a multifunction folding coffee table will be created to solve this problem. A set of the questionnaire has been given to the chosen respondent to give feedback based on the design given. The result of the study is shown that respondent agrees with the factor according to material, design, marketing, and satisfaction of the product. The objective of this study has been achieved. The product design was accepted by many respondents.
