Abstract

Industrial Training is the final course in the Program (or Study Plan) whereby a student is required to undergo on the job training (OJT) in areas relevant to the academic program and field of specialization. Industrial training course serves as a practical training ground for the student to gain practical knowledge and acquire job skills at a workplace in an organization. Industrial Training course is to be conducted by selected host organization in accordance to the industrial training guidelines set by the Faculty. The training course provides an avenue for work exposure where students are to carry out productive tasks and real work activities at a workplace in an organization. The duration of Industrial Training (or Practicum) course is 20 weeks as stipulated by the Faculty. An Industrial Training Report shall be submitted by the students at the end of practicum attachment.
