JMD245 : Jewellery design fabrication / College of Creative Arts

This course introduces students to the various methods and techniques in functional jewellery. This study focuses on produce and sketch new design and the ability to produce jewellery products using several metalsmithing techniques of forming and fabrication. The relationship between design, creativity, craftsmanship and the use of materials will be discussed during critique sessions in order to demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving skills among students.
