Abstract
This paper studies the facilities for wheelchair user at shopping mall in Klang Valley, Malaysia. Main purpose of this research is to identify facilities that are needed by wheelchair users in the shopping mall and to determine the facilities provided for the wheelchair user qualify the legislation according to Malaysian Standard 1184: 2002l. The research is carried out through observation method based on the auditing checklist that has been prepared referred on the requirement of the Malaysian Standard 1184: 2002 and other secondary data. From the analysis, the observations has been made, Subang Parade, Setia City mall and SACC Mall provide and almost fulfill the requirement from the Malaysian Standards for the wheelchair users. This research can contribute for the improvement on the facilities in the shopping mall for disable people especially wheelchair users.
