Abstract

The course encompasses the general study of art and architecture of the Western world, beginning from the Classical (Greco-Roman) period to the present-day architectural development. Understanding the design approach and technological contribution, as well as the cause and effect factors of each era and movement is essential. However, focus is given to topics of Modern Architecture beginning from the mid. 19th-century Industrial Revolution.
