Abstract
The course focuses on the study of basic design within the context of two dimensional application. Basic two dimensional design elements such as point, line, shape, pattern and color is being explored. Basic design principles and terminologies such as proportion, scale, balance, rhythm, emphasis, unity and harmony is introduced and explored through two-dimensional and three-dimensional planar surface design exercise.
