IDT251 : Diploma project I / Faculty of Art and Design

Students will be introduced to the basic skills in product development process, including: market and product research; determining customer needs; brainstorming; estimation; concept generation and development; design aesthetics; detailed design; written, visual, and oral communication. The lecture topics are to be carried out weekly will include an exercise to determine student understanding where students are expected to create new knowledge and foster problem-solving skills through creativity and the systematic application of design process.
